Oscar-winning composers and Nine Inch Nails members Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have announced Future Ruins, a one-day festival spotlighting visionary music creators behind iconic film and television scores.

Set to take place on November 8th, 2025, at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, the festival will feature famous film and TV music performed live in new ways by the original composers.

Joining Reznor and Ross, who will perform music from ‘The Social Network’, ‘Gone Girl’, ‘Watchmen’, and more, are cinematic artists including John Carpenter, Danny Elfman, Cristobal Tapia de Veer, Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin, and Hildur Guðnadóttir. The program also features Howard Shore’s Crash score live, as well as appearances by Questlove (presenting the works of Curtis Mayfield), Mark Mothersbaugh, Isobel Waller-Bridge, Terence Blanchard, and many others.

“There’s no headliner. There’s no hierarchy. This is a stacked lineup of visionaries doing something you might not see again,” Reznor and Ross stated.
