Berlin’s electronic music scene takes center stage as industry leaders prepare to explore the city’s rich club culture history. On November 27th, 2024 at 6 PM, the Humboldt Forum will host ‘Behind the ‘Tresor’ Door: The Evolution of Berlin’s Club Culture.’ This panel features influential figures like Tresor founder Dimitri Hegemann and DJ/producer Ellen Allien, who will discuss the scene’s impact and its role in nurturing emerging talent.

Anja Schneider, a respected figure in the electronic music world, will moderate the 90-minute session. This gathering of industry luminaries promises an in-depth exploration of Berlin’s club scene evolution, from its underground roots to its current global influence.

The Humboldt Forum, which opened to the public in 2021, is a museum dedicated to human history, art, and culture. Despite facing controversy due to its possession of artifacts from Germany’s colonial past, it now serves as a platform for important cultural discussions like this one.
