Legendary New York club brand Twilo will return this March for a two-night reunion at its original home, 530 W 27th St in Manhattan. Featuring Danny Tenaglia and John Digweed, the event takes place on March 6th and 7th, 2026, and is now officially sold out.

The immediate sell-out confirms what many already suspected. Twilo still holds emotional weight in New York nightlife. More than two decades after its closure, demand for a return to 27th Street remains intense.

Active during the late 1990s and early 2000s, Twilo became a defining institution for marathon sets, high production standards, and a crowd committed to the music. The room’s sound system and programming shaped expectations far beyond Manhattan, influencing club culture across the United States and abroad.

Under the banner ‘Twilo: The Reunion,’ the brand reclaims the original address where those nights unfolded. The announcement arrived via Twilo Events on Instagram with the message: “Two nights. True legacy.” Within days, both nights were fully booked.

Friday, March 6th, opens with a pairing rooted in that era. John Digweed and Danny Tenaglia return to the main room together, revisiting a chapter that helped define progressive club culture in New York. Digweed’s long-form storytelling and global residency work established a template for structured, narrative DJ sets. Tenaglia’s extended performances at Twilo built a devoted community that treated each night as a shared experience rather than a time slot.

Saturday, March 7th, centers on Danny Tenaglia’s birthday with an all-night Twilo Classics set. His residency on 27th Street became one of the cornerstones of the club’s identity. For this reunion, he will draw from records associated with that period, while also honoring the broader musical arc that shaped those years. The upstairs Loft will host an SF or TWILO Years session featuring Carry Nation, with Benny Soto opening the room.

In a recent update, Tenaglia shared that the STAX sound system is on its way to New York, adding another layer of anticipation around the production quality. In a separate post, he wrote, “TWILO 2026! Saturday, March 7, my birthday. I will be playing all night long in the main room.” The tone is celebratory, but the commitment to doing this properly is clear.

With both nights sold out well ahead of the dates, Twilo’s return stands less as a nostalgia play and more as proof that certain rooms never truly leave the city’s memory. For those attending, this weekend will not just revisit history. It will test whether that energy can live again inside the same walls.
