Ultra Music Festival has announced ‘Bayfront Bark’, a free pet adoption event happening on Saturday, June 21st, from 10 AM to 1 PM at the Dog Park in the southeast corner of Bayfront Park. Designed to support local animal welfare, it will offer a platform for adoptable pets to find new homes.

Organized in partnership with Miami-Dade County Animal Services, Bayfront Park, the City of Miami, and the Miami Police Department, the initiative will feature free adoptions, complimentary ice cream, and giveaways including Ultra merchandise, pet products, and branded items while supplies last. All adoptions will be first-come, first-served and require a valid photo ID.

The event is part of Ultra’s Mission: Home initiative, which champions sustainability and community involvement. Launched in 2019, Mission: Home has driven 61 programs, diverted nearly 400,000 pounds of waste from landfills, and eliminated 2.6 million single-use plastic items. It has also been recognized with four SUNsational Awards and the Sustainability Team Award at the World Sustainability Awards.

The initiative has also expanded through new partnerships in 2024-2025, working with local organizations to repurpose wood, compost food waste, and recycle glass and plastics, collectively processing over 77,000 pounds of materials.
