Upclose has unveiled the full lineup for its 2026 edition, returning to Spaarnwoude-Park on May 16th and 17th for another weekend shaped around the dance floor. Curated by Awakenings, the festival continues to focus on intimacy, connection, and forward-leaning club culture.

Building on its first two editions, Upclose maintains a close-knit setup designed to remove distance between artists and dancers. The 2026 programme leans deeper into the progressive edges of techno, favouring intention, depth, and formats that prioritise shared energy over spectacle.

This year’s lineup places collaboration and live performance at its core. Key appearances include Ben UFO x Four Tet, Alarico x Ben Klock, Freddy K x Marrøn, Anetha x Pegassi, DJ Boring x Odymel, and Ignez x Rødhåd in a hybrid live configuration. Live shows feature Colin Benders x Dasha Rush, UFO95, The Tunegirl, Planetary Assault Systems, and LSD, marking ten years of the Luke Slater, Function, and Steve Bicknell project across separate performances.

Several artists explore alternative approaches through additional sets across the weekend. Freddy K, Rene Wise, and Alarico each appear twice, presenting both techno and house-oriented sessions. Blasha and Allatt return with a house set, while Ciara Cuvé performs under her alias, offering a groove-led counterpoint to her high-BPM work. UK-influenced and hybrid sounds are represented by DJ Boring x Odymel, Main Phase, and BIIANCO.

International names are joined by key figures from the Dutch scene. Collabs 3000 reunite Chris Liebing and Speedy J, while ROD x Sterac connect Detroit techno roots with contemporary club dynamics. Joris Voorn presents a vinyl-only techno set, and the Hayes Collective brings Cravo, Nørbak, Temudo, and Vil together in an F2F format. Local artists, including JEANS x Spekki Webu x Woody ’92, Naone, Odymel, Emvae, Moxes, and the Undivulged Collective, underline the strength of the regional community.
