Berlin-based electronic music label Katermukke has released ‘Theory of Everything’, the latest EP from up-and-coming Swiss DJ and producer, Vanita, who has been steadily gaining recognition in Zürich and beyond for her contributions to the melodic techno genre.
Vanita’s musical journey has been shaped by her love for house and techno music and her fascination with both analog and digital synthesizers. She began her career as a DJ at the age of 19 and later ventured into music production in 2010. Over the years, she has honed her skills and developed her unique style.
Katermukke’s decision to feature Vanita’s work underscores the label’s commitment to supporting emerging artists. Label owner Dirty Doering prioritizes musical quality over adherence to specific genres, and this EP release aligns with that ethos.
The ‘Theory of Everything’ EP comprises two tracks: ‘Theory of Everything’ and ‘End of the Day.’ These tracks showcase Vanita’s growth and demonstrate her command over melodic techno. Both pieces are dynamic and designed to energize the dance floor.
