The DJ/producer duo Velero, formed by Benjamin Yang & Enrique Quintero, has just unveiled their debut EP ‘Wander’. The new record solidifies the duo’s rising status in the Miami circuit and is already available to stream and purchase across major digital platforms via Dude Skywalker’s Deep Playa Records.
Showcasing 3 original tracks, ‘Wander’ finds Velero deep in psychedelics, pushing listeners down the rabbit hole with their reverb-drenched percussions, perfect layering, and arresting dystopian vocal samples as they bewilder the imagination.
“‘Wander’ represents a different flavor of the 305 with each track: a subtle Latin flair combined with Afrobeats on the first track and an evolved tech-house foundation throughout the whole project that Miamians know and love. This city has been so influential on our musical upbringings… it’s only fitting that we pay homage to this beautiful city and the culture that inspired us to make the music.” says the duo.
