VibeLab and four European institutions launch NightSchool, an EU-funded educational program for upcoming talents in the nightlife sector.
The program equips nightlife producers with sustainability skills and connects them with industry veterans. Thanks to the EU’s Creative Europe, 15 participants will receive a €5,000 grant, enabling them to create their own sustainable event concepts.
Participants will learn from experts at three European nightlife venues. The program starts with a call for applications from young culture producers across Europe. NightSchool’s €75,000 micro-funding scheme will help participants pioneer sustainable nightlife events throughout Europe. The program also includes an online resource and hybrid platform for global audience education.
Five organizations collaborated on NightSchool: VibeLab, FUSE, Kaņepes Kultūras Centrs, BASIS Vinschgau Venost and its event KASINO Club, and Transversal Project. Its principles are Social Awareness, Sustainability, and Entrepreneurship, promoting inclusive environments, diversity, wellness, and positive community engagement.
Applications are open until April 12th, and training will take place from June 3-8, 2024. Apply here.
