Vintage Culture and Layla Benitez have joined forces for a stirring new single titled ‘Nirvana’, released on Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep in Sound.
The track blends melodic techno aesthetics with afro house influences, crafting an emotional journey underscored by a vocal performance from Max Milner.
‘Nirvana’ showcases percolating synths and sweeping bass swells, building to an elegant, mature payoff that has already captured the attention of BBC Radio 1’s Pete Tong and Danny Howard. Layla Benitez shared insights into the song’s creation: “I played an early version of the track at Pacha last summer while Lukas (Vintage Culture) was in the booth. He immediately connected with it and had ideas. From there, the creative process truly became an organic back-and-forth.”
