Volumo, a new online electronic music store, is quickly making a name for itself in the global music market.

Founded in early 2022 by three friends from Ukraine, Volumo is challenging the established players in the industry, including Beatport, Juno Download, and Traxsource. The founders, Oleksandr Dzyubenko, Anton Severynenko, and Denys Borysov, have created a store that focuses on the needs of artists, DJs, and sound producers.
Unlike other electronic music stores, Volumo offers a curated store experience. Each release is pre-moderated, making it easier and faster for users to search for music. It also uses a tag system, which enables each author to choose the sub-genre or mood of the release. Additionally, the store plans to implement a recommendation system in the future, similar to those used by Apple Music or Spotify.
The Volumo team operates on the principle of “getting downloads back on trend.” They believe that downloads should help monetize artists’ creativity and impact the quality of new music. Their innovative approach has already earned them agreements with major distributors, including FUGA, Symphonic, and Triple Vision. The store’s catalog includes almost 30,000 artists and 3,000 labels from over a hundred countries.
Despite their rapid growth, Volumo’s founders are not looking for venture capital investment or planning a quick exit. They are committed to their initial vision and are focused on creating a convenient and modern working tool for professional DJs and selectors.
