Aphex Twin has released an official music video for his 2017 track ‘Korg Funk 5’. The three-and-a-half-minute clip, directed by British multi-disciplinary artist Nadia Lee Cohen, arrived earlier this week.

Cohen appears in the video and invited American rapper JT for a brief cameo, while Richard D. James and his Warp Records team oversaw the production. The edit was handled by Los Angeles-based filmmaker Charlie Denis, completing a tight collaborative effort across two continents.

‘Korg Funk 5’ began as a partnership between James and Japanese synth maker Korg. The piece was recorded entirely with a Monologue instrument designed by Korg Berlin head Tatsuya Takahashi and features vocals from James’ son.
