Daft Punk have unveiled a new visual for their track ‘Contact’, the closing piece from their final album ‘Random Access Memories’. The cinematic clip takes inspiration from the recently launched Daft Punk Experience inside Fortnite.

The video follows the duo’s trademark robot avatars as they embark on a journey through space toward a flashing signal, mirroring the introduction sequence of the game. Along the way, fans encounter subtle nods to the duo’s celebrated catalogue, weaving together imagery from across their career.

This release arrives amid a renewed wave of Daft Punk activity. In late October, Thomas Bangalter made his first DJ appearance in 16 years, joining Erol Alkan, Busy P, and Fred again.. on stage in Paris to play a selection of Daft Punk classics, including ‘Digital Love’, ‘Rollin’ & Scratchin’’, and ‘Contact’. The announcement of the first-ever vinyl edition of the remix album for ‘Human After All’ followed soon after.
