Gorillaz brought their seminal debut album ‘Gorillaz’ to life with a full-length performance at London’s Copper Box Arena, recorded on August 29th, 2025, for YouTube Music Nights. The show revisited the 2001 self-titled record in its entirety, featuring special guest appearances and a rare live journey through the project that launched the band’s global legacy.

The setlist included the complete 15-track album plus select B-sides, opening with ‘M1 A1’ and moving through fan favorites like ‘5/4’, ‘Tomorrow Comes Today’, and ‘Clint Eastwood’. Miho Hatori joined for several performances, including ‘Re-Hash’, ‘New Genius (Brother)’, and ‘19-2000’, while Chris Storr and James Copus added live brass to ‘Rock The House’ and ‘Latin Simone (Que Pasa Contigo)’. Sweetie Irie also appeared for a ‘Clint Eastwood’ refix to close the show.

Originally released in 2001, ‘Gorillaz’ fused trip-hop, dub, hip-hop, and punk into a bold audiovisual identity that redefined what a band could be.
