Defected has teamed up with the ‘Pete Tong DJ Academy’ to provide a totally online e-learning platform to guide beginner and advanced DJs, to help them accomplish a tangible and long-lasting outcome for their careers. Courses are dictated by Pete Tong, Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, Nicole Moudaber, TSHA, and The ReLOUD from MAT Academy.
In association with the leading online tuition program MAT Academy, and co-founded by Carl Cox, ‘The Pete Tong DJ Academy’ is a comprehensive one-on-one on-demand video-based course, that teaches the fundamentals of becoming a DJ. This goes beyond track selection and mixing, covering guidance on etiquette, social media, and choosing your own team.
“I’m very proud to be launching the PTDJ Academy. A new platform that gives my peers and me a chance to pass on a lifetime’s worth of learning, experience, and skills to the next generation. Our ambition is to continue the legacy and help inspire and evolve the essence of what’s required to be a great DJ.
