In an exciting development for music and film enthusiasts, a star-studded cast of musicians will be portrayed as Lego characters in an upcoming movie about the life of Pharrell Williams.
The film, ‘Piece By Piece,’ features friends from the artists including Jay Z, Busta Rhymes, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Justin Timberlake, Gwen Stefani, and Timbaland, all rendered in Lego form. It is set to hit cinemas on October 11th, 2024.
This cinematic experience is presented by Focus Features, a subsidiary of Universal Pictures. They describe ‘Piece By Piece’ as an energetic journey through the life of the cultural icon, Pharrell Williams, as told from a Lego perspective. Universal Pictures acquired the rights to Lego in 2020.
Behind the scenes, the film was directed by Morgan Neville, with Pharrell Williams as a co-producer.
