Woolfy and Love Athletics have collaborated on their latest work, ‘Making It Right’. The album, available now via Ritual Release, blends vintage new wave/goth anthems invoking the spirit of iconic bands like New Order, Depeche Mode, and The Killers into a modern, innovative sound.

The title track ‘Making It Right’ sets a brooding disco rhythm and chilling vocals reminiscent of Peter Murphy and Ian Curtis. The song explores themes of love and romanticism, likening them to Earth’s constant rotation. It symbolizes resilience and determination in the pursuit of love, merging classic new-wave and modern electronic music.

The LP features remixes from Prins Thomas, Ilya Santana, and Boys’ Shorts. Prins Thomas’s remix and minimalistic dub version transform the original synth into a Nordic soundscape. Ilya Santana’s ’84 mix evokes Italo sleaze, while Boys’ Shorts enhances the beats for a dancefloor-friendly sound, maintaining the original’s nostalgia.
