Celebrating Mexico’s Race weekend, the Zamna Festival made its return to the capital city on October 25th-27th, to once more become an epicenter of electronic music and captivate fans with a notable lineup and an immersive audiovisual experience at the Hipodromo de las Americas.
Friday night kicked off the three-day event on a high note with a headline set from ARTBAT, formed by Artur Kryvenko and Vitaliy Limarenko, who hypnotized the crowd with their signature UPPERGROUND driving beats and melodic techno sounds. Alongside the Ukranian duo, Layla Benitez, Mahmut Orhan, and Øostil brought dynamic and entertaining sets that kept the energy at a constant peak.
On Saturday, Swiss DJ star Adriatique took the main stage with an exciting performance that showcased his mastery of deep, progressive sounds, engaging attendees with layered beats and subtle builds. CamelPhat, Henri Bergmann, and the Zamna Soundsystem rounded out the night, each bringing their own brand of electronic artistry. From CamelPhat’s crowd-pleasing anthems to Henri Bergmann’s deeper cuts, the lineup ensured that every moment was memorable.
The festival reached its peak on Sunday, beginning with warm-up sets by Tom & Collins and Avangart Tabldot, followed by Turkish sensation Carlita who brought her uplifting beats to the massive crowd. Then it was the turn of Monolink who delivered a charismatic live performance, blending live instrumentation and electronic beats. The event’s closing was in charge of Danish band WhoMadeWho, with a genre-blending performance, where they played most of her hits such as ‘Miracle’, ‘Heartless’, or ‘Love Will Save Me’, included on their just-released album ‘Kiss & Forget’. On the organization side, the Zamna Festival has been synonymous with high-caliber production, and the Mexico City Race weekend edition was no exception. Attendees were treated to a feast for the senses, with custom lighting installations, a state-of-the-art sound system, and immersive visuals that transformed the Hipodromo de las Americas into a playground for electronic music lovers. Each night brought a new stage layout and a fresh set of visual displays, keeping the experience electric.
As attendees left the venue on Sunday night, there was a shared sense of having experienced something special. Mexico City’s Zamna Festival was a three-day journey with some of the best talent in the electronic music circuit, accompanied by cutting-edge production and many memorable moments.
