London-based DJ and producer Zeb Wayne takes the helm for EG SPOTLIGHT.311, now streaming via SoundCloud and Mixcloud.
Wayne’s mix reflects a seasoned intuition shaped by years behind the decks and in the studio. From early days on pirate radio and house parties to hosting warehouse events and festival stages, his journey traces a path through London’s underground and beyond. His selections reveal a balance between rhythmic drive and emotive detail — a quality present in his releases on Rekids, Southern Fried, and Nervous, and his studio work for other artists and brands.
This set weaves through timeless vocal grooves, leftfield house, soulful breaks, and unreleased cuts, including several of his own. Featured artists include mBtheLight, HNNY, Mood To Swing, Velvit, Todd Edwards, Daphni, Lil Simz, Soul Clap, Yesca, Jovonn, Make A Dance, Diskop, Hardt Antoine, José González, Logic1000, LeBaron James, Souls Of Mischief, Steve Gurley, Dam Swindle, and Zeb Wayne himself, who contributes three unreleased tracks: ‘Take U There’, ‘After Laughter’, and ‘Tell Me’. Each selection plays a part in a flowing, club-minded journey built for movement and memory.
The mix also marks a new chapter with the launch of Wayne’s label WiP (Work in Progress), a platform built around process and fluid creativity.
