Black Coffee and RÜFÜS DU SOL win Grammys in electronic categories

It was Black Coffee’s first Grammy ever.

South African DJ and producer Black Coffee have just won his first Grammy Award for his work on ‘Subconsciously’, which earned ‘Best Electronic Album’. This was his first nomination ever as well, leaving behind Illenium’s ‘Fallen Embers’, Major Lazer’s ‘Music Is the Weapon (Reloaded)’, Marshmello’s ‘Shockwave’, Sylvan Esso’s ‘Free Love’, and Ten City’s ‘Judgement’.

Also, Australian outfit RÜFÜS DU SOL took home the Grammy for ‘Best Dance/Electronic Recording’ home for ‘Alive’, which stems from 2021’s ‘Surrender’.
