Hard Times Records and Todd Terry have teamed up to reimagine the iconic ‘Bounce To The Beat’ featuring remixes by Chris Stussy and Dan Shake.
Originally released in 1995, ‘Bounce To The Beat’ was a major success for Hard Times Records. Label boss Steve Raine recalls, “This was our second release, but it cemented our place at the forefront of the scene, both in the UK and worldwide.”
Chris Stussy’s remix retains the original’s essence with a modern twist. “Remixing ‘Bounce To The Beat’ is special, and I aimed to give it a ’90s touch with a modern twist,” says Stussy. Dan Shake offers a 2Step-inspired take with a dynamic bassline. “Remixing this iconic track for Hard Times has been surreal and fun,” he shares.
The 2024 release includes two reworks, the Original mix, and ‘Tee’s Freeze Mix,’ available on vinyl and digital formats.
