The music magazine Disco Pogo is set to release a new literary tribute to Aphex Twin, slated for an October 30th launch.

‘Aphex Twin: A Disco Pogo Tribute’ promises to be a treasure trove for fans, featuring interviews, essays, and articles from various music journalists. The book delves deep into the career of Richard D. James, the mastermind behind Aphex Twin, spanning his decades of contributions to electronic music.

Under the guidance of longtime Disco Pogo editor Jim Butler, the book offers readers an intimate look into James‘ artistic journey. It features a cover portrait by photographer Wolfgang Tillmans and numerous images documenting James’ career highlights.

In a collaborative effort, Paul Nicholson, the creative force behind the iconic Aphex Twin logo, has opened his archives for this project. Additionally, James’ associated labels—Warp Records, R&S Records, and Rephlex—have all contributed to enrich this homage.

This book follows Disco Pogo’s 2023 Daft Punk tribute and another recent Aphex Twin book by 17-year-old Beau Waddell, which analyzed James’ complete discography.
