Narciss and Morphena have joined forces to create their debut EP, ‘Lingua Erotica’. The first single, ‘Mi Amor,’ offers listeners a preview of the full EP to be out on October 18th, 2024 via Gerd Janson’s label, Running Back.
‘Lingua Erotica’ is a passionate project born from a long-distance romance. Narciss and Morphena have crafted a sonic journey that explores themes of love, sensuality, tenderness, and longing, all while maintaining an authentic and intimate feel.
The EP draws inspiration from a variety of influences, including Italo disco, new romantic aesthetics, and synth-pop poetry. Tracks like ‘Paradise’ and the club version of ‘Per Aspera Ad Astra’ showcase the duo’s talent for creating subtle yet euphoric dancefloor moments.
‘Lingua Erotica’ offers a well-balanced listening experience. The more club-oriented tracks ‘Mi Amor’ and ‘Fleeing Into You’ are nestled between the ambient soundscapes of ‘Per Aspera Ad Astra’ and ‘Cocoon Cracking’.
