Carlisle-based electronica trio Novablood has released ‘Destroy The Magic,’ a genre-blending album that fuses indie, electro, post-punk, and new wave elements. The album is available on vinyl and digital platforms through Old World – New World Records.

Building on the success of their singles ‘Biblical’ and ‘Bring Your Love,’ Novablood’s latest offering showcases their evolution from a duo to a more dynamic trio. Lead vocalist Mark Zowie, known for his work with Burn The Negative and We Take Polaroids, brings a soulful, refined vocal delivery reminiscent of David Sylvian, adding depth to the band’s sonic landscape.

The album’s tracklist features several standout tracks. ‘Biblical’ opens with atmospheric synths and a pulsating bassline. ‘Falling’ highlights Zowie’s vocal prowess, channeling influences from Japan’s frontman. ‘Move Through You’ presents an electro-skiffle masterpiece that rivals Depeche Mode’s ‘Personal Jesus.’ ‘Love,’ a late addition to the album, has already captivated live audiences, while ‘Needful Things’ provides a brooding, reflective finale.

To accompany the album, Novablood has released a music video for ‘Move Through You.’ The video chronicles the band’s journey from Carlisle to Manchester, Newcastle, Todmorden, and Ibiza. Watch the video here.
