Philadelphia-based producer and DJ Jay Hill has unveiled her latest EP, ‘Believe In Me,’ on her own imprint, People Of The Light.

The EP showcases two original tracks that highlight Hill’s signature sound. ‘Believe in Me’ and ‘Already Broken’ demonstrate her ability to blend melodic intricacies with driving rhythms. These tracks take listeners on a journey through Hill’s musical landscape, from peak-time techno vibes to more rhythmic house grooves. Both compositions feature deep, pulsating basslines, precise beats, and an unmistakable club-ready energy.

Adding depth to the release are remixes by two rising stars in the electronic music scene. Porchcrawler, also known as Harvey Barker, brings a fresh Detroit-inspired twist to ‘Believe in Me.’ His remix is particularly poignant, as Porchcrawler is the son of the late Andy Barker from 808 State—one of Hill’s long-time mentors.

James Chang, returning to the label, offers his interpretation of ‘Already Broken.’ Chang’s remix navigates the space between deep and minimal, infusing the track with robust beats and warm textures.
