Crazy P just released their ninth studio album ‘Any Signs of Love,’ via Walk Don’t Walk, in association with !K7 Music. The LP carries profound significance as it features the final recordings of the band’s beloved lead singer Danielle Moore, who passed away in September 2024.
“The album was finished in early March this year, Danielle left us in August,” the band shares in an emotional statement. “We miss her terribly and it only seems right that we release the record. We’re immensely proud of it, we know Danielle considered it to be some of our best work and would want the world to hear it.”
The LP opens with the title track, showcasing Moore’s soaring vocals over a spacey Italo-influenced arrangement. ‘Portals’ follows, blending sultry grooves with psychedelia as Danielle asks, “Please tell me there’s something out there we don’t know.”
‘System Failure’ features an acid line and soulful vocals, ‘Not Too Late’ brings electro-funk and haunting lyrics, ‘Love Is Power’ delivers infectious rhythms, and ‘Mystify’ offers psychedelic grooves.
The journey continues with ‘The Revolution Will Not Be Anything,’ featuring Moore in full diva glory, followed by ‘Human After All,’ which captures Crazy P’s signature sound through sultry grooves and Balearic pianos. ‘You Know How It Goes’ offers an ethereal, deeply moving experience, before ‘Strange Affair’ concludes the album with a celebration of Moore’s commanding presence as a vocalist and performer.
‘Any Signs of Love’ stands as both a showcase of Crazy P’s disco sound and their collective spirit. Merging diva classics with Balearic and Italo influences, the album serves as a fitting final tribute to Moore’s powerful presence.
