James Blake has unveiled his latest single entitled ‘Like The End,’ which is accompanied by two distinct visual experiences: a live performance video and an AI-generated official music video.
Released through Blake’s own CMYK label, ‘Like The End’ has already gained significant exposure as the soundtrack for Netflix’s upcoming series ‘The Madness,’ starring Colman Domingo. The track showcases the British artist’s signature blend of innovative production and emotive songwriting.
The live performance, directed by The Reids, offers an intimate glimpse of Blake’s artistry, captured within the historic walls of Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios. In parallel, the official music video, helmed by director Jon Rafman, pushes creative boundaries through artificial intelligence. Speaking about the AI-driven approach, Blake reflects, “I don’t know how else you could make a video that totally nails the feeling of not knowing what’s real anymore.”
In addition to the new release, Blake has announced two sold-out piano performances for December 18th and 19th in London.
