Laurent Garnier joins ‘fabric presents’ with four mixes celebrating the London club’s 25th anniversary.
Garnier’s four 80-minute mixes recreate an ideal fabric weekend, showcasing his versatility from house to techno, UK bass, and afterhours sounds. The release is available in two formats: a deluxe vinyl box set with picture booklet, and a special edition CD with embossed aluminum ’25 Years of fabric’ casing.
“Clubs have been my second home since the start of my career,” reflects Garnier. “This special journey with fabric is, of course, a tribute to the legendary London club—a place that’s been a home to so many clubbers, DJs, and music-lovers for so many years—but most of all, a tribute to all the dancefloors and all the clubs around the world.”
While drawing from fabric’s rich history, Garnier’s selection stays decidedly modern, featuring mostly tracks from the past three years. His thorough curation process involved reviewing hundreds of records daily, culminating in over five hours of meticulously sequenced music.
Alongside the mixes, Garnier contributes four original tracks that reflect the project’s diversity—ranging from the vocal-led house of ‘Odyssée Maison’ to the atmospheric closing piece ‘On The Way Home’.
Laurent Garnier headlines Room 2 at fabric on December 7th with Works Of Intent, while Ron Trent and Serenda play Room 1, and Circa Groove, Thorgurder, Rupert Ellis, and Will Mellor handle Room 3. Secure your tickets here.
