Netflix has unveiled the trailer for ‘Avicii – I’m Tim,’ an intimate documentary chronicling the life and career of the late Tim Bergling.
Directed by Henrik Burman, the film follows Avicii’s rise after his breakthrough 2011 hit ‘Levels.’ The documentary captures his journey from performing in small clubs to selling out amphitheaters, with his success accelerating at an unprecedented pace.
The documentary reveals the person behind the music through previously unseen footage and intimate interviews. It showcases not only Bergling’s artistic genius but also examines how relentless touring and sudden fame affected his well-being.
Narrated by the Swedish artist himself, the film debuts alongside ‘Avicii – My Last Show,’ documenting his final performance at Ibiza’s Ushuaïa club. He died by suicide in 2018, less than two years after this performance.
