Trip-hop pioneers Morcheeba have unveiled ‘Call For Love,’ marking a triumphant return after a four-year hiatus. Released through 100% Records, this emotionally charged track offers the first glimpse of their eleventh studio album.
Now celebrating their 30th anniversary, the UK group has evolved from their original 1995 trio of Skye Edwards and the Godfrey brothers to the current duo of Edwards and Ross Godfrey, who have worked together since 2014.
After their 2021 album ‘Blackest Blue’ and its ‘remix collection’ in 2022, ‘Call For Love’ demonstrates their ever-evolving sound. The track captures Edwards’ perspective on finding solace through music and love in uncertain times, blending personal sentiment with a universal message.
