Jan Blomqvist released today his third studio album, ‘MUTE,’ via his imprint Disconnected in collaboration with Armada Music. The LP launch coincides with his worldwide tour.
Crafted in Berlin and inspired by life on tour, this 12-track musical offering serves as a sanctuary from modern chaos. Building on his previous work ‘Disconnected,’ ‘MUTE’ traces a journey from darkness to light, exploring the importance of inner reflection in our hectic world.
“We’re living in a world where listening has become a lost art,” reflects Blomqvist, capturing the album’s essence. “‘MUTE’ is about finding your inner voice amidst all the madness and noise.”
The album’s standout tracks—‘Underwater,’ ‘Destination Lost,’ ‘Muted Mind,’ and ‘Midnight Sun’—blend introspective elements with dance energy. Collaborations with Rodriguez Jr., Beobȇ, Natasha Polke, Bondi, and lyricist Maybemahri enrich the record’s contemplative themes.
Following his Burning Man performance, Blomqvist has launched the ‘MUTE’ album tour. His live shows have sold out venues across Europe and North America through March. Together with Christian Dammann, he has created an innovative stage design that reimagines electronic music performances. More info and tickets here.
