Italian DJ & producer Joseph Capriati has dropped his latest original track, ‘Meandri’, to be included in the upcoming Global Underground’s GU47: Montreal compilation, which is set to be released on March 21st, 2025.
‘Meandri’ is mesmerizing in intensity and intricate in production. GU founder Andy Horsfield has described it as a “spine-tinglingly hypnotic techno masterpiece, making for a truly fitting debut in our esteemed City series.”
With GU47: Montreal, Capriati celebrates nearly two decades of international touring with an ambitious two-disc mix, showcasing his versatility, masterful mixing, and deep understanding of music across genres.
CD1, titled ‘Bright Disc’, will highlight his house music influences, featuring tracks from artists like KiNK, Solomun, Louie Vega, Âme, and Fear-E. Meanwhile, CD2, known as ‘Obscure Disc’, will delve into his signature energetic techno sound, including contributions from Indira Paganotto, Len Faki, Julieta Kopp, Oscar Mulero, and Capriati himself.
Joseph Capriati joins an elite group of DJs who have contributed to the Global Underground mix series, following in the footsteps of Danny Tenaglia, ANNA, Amelie Lens, Joris Voorn, and Patrice Bäumel.
