German DJ and producer Tony y Not has just released her debut EP ‘Have You Lost Your Mind’ on Kompakt.
The title track layers hypnotic textures, psychedelic energy, and sultry vocals into a magnetic, futuristic house roller that’s equal parts groove and emotion.
The b-side, ‘Deep Don’t Stop’, leans into vintage influences with subtle vocals, acid-laced percussion, and an Italo-inspired bassline. The result is a darker, driving cut that invites listeners into an otherworldly zone.
“Last year, I decided to bring my voice back into my music,” shares Tony y Not. “Singing has always been a big part of my life… I wrote ‘Have You Lost Your Mind?’ during a time when the world and global politics felt chaotic, and honestly, it seemed like we’d all lost it a little. ‘Deep Don’t Stop’ was just as fun to create—about getting lost in the rhythm while reflecting on the madness around us.”
