Producer and The Chemical Brothers co-founder Tom Rowlands just shared ‘We Are Nothing / All Night’ via Erol Alkan’s Phantasy label. The release marks his first solo dancefloor outing since 2013.

Pressed as a double A-side, the new single captures Rowlands’ lifelong fascination with house and psychedelia. ‘We Are Nothing’ threads samples from Canadian poet Bill Bissett through acid lines, flashes of soul, and analog improvisation. On the flip, ‘All Night’ shifts gear into a faster, raw groove, highlighting Rowlands’ instinct for relentless forward motion. Both tracks have been road-tested in recent The Chemical Brothers DJ sets around the globe.

The tracks are streaming on all platforms, and a 12-inch edition can be pre-ordered via Bandcamp or the Phantasy store. Additionally, Tom will perform a rare solo DJ set at Glastonbury’s Stonebridge Bar on Friday, June 27th, 2025.
