Australian-born DJ and producer Don Dali has released his debut album ‘Passaporte’, a 14-track project merging the raw pulse of baile funk with high-energy electronic production. Out now via Altafonte/The Orchard, the record delivers a club-ready sound designed to resonate from Rio’s favelas to Berlin’s underground.
Produced entirely by Dali, ‘Passaporte’ features collaborations with MC Gw, Angel Dior, MC Delux, and more. Tracks like ‘Tá Soltinha’, ‘Bunda Perfeita’, and ‘Modo Solteira – Extended Mix’ showcase a percussive, bass-driven style that blends local funk traditions with festival-scale EDM.
“I’m bringing the world a new sound — one they’ve never heard before. It’s a passport that crosses languages and borders, uniting us in one party, one celebration,” said Dali.
Inspired by sharing funk with global audiences, Dali built the album around vocal stems, creating Brazilian-rooted tracks made for international clubs. Songs like ‘Toma Toma’ and ‘Portunhol’ blend grit, bilingual elements, and energetic beats.
