Get Physical brings back its long-running Body Language series with Volume 27, curated by Dutch producer Helsloot. The project launches alongside the single ‘We Get High’ featuring Richard Judge, and a release event in Amsterdam this November.
‘We Get High’ follows the single ‘Be Strong’ and sees Helsloot teaming up with UK vocalist Richard Judge. The track balances rhythm and emotional depth, pointing toward the direction of the full compilation. ‘Body Language Vol. 27’ will be released later this year.
Since 2002, Body Language has acted as both archive and compass within club culture, with past curators including Dixon, DJ Hell, WhoMadeWho, Monkey Safari, Yulia Niko, and founders Booka Shade, DJ T., and M.A.N.D.Y.. “The Body Language series has always been about capturing a moment in club culture while pointing towards its future. With Helsloot, we felt the timing was perfect,” says Philipp Jung of Get Physical.
Known for his melodic house sound, Helsloot has released on Anjunadeep, Domino, This Never Happened, and Ritter Butzke, while his 2024 debut album ‘Never Tried’ further displayed his emotional approach. “When I was asked to do a ‘Body Language’ album I was very honored. To be able to scroll through their archive that holds all these classics is incredible. It also felt like the perfect opportunity to try out some new sounds,” he shares.
