Fred again.. has released a new collaborative single titled ‘Talk of the Town’, featuring UK producer Sammy Virji and Irish artist Reggie. Produced and completed live on Twitch while fred was in Dublin, the track forms part of his second USB album, ‘USB002’.
It follows the recent release of ‘HARDSTYLE 2’ with KETTAMA and Shady Nasty, and joins a growing list of collaborations from the upcoming project, including ‘Facilita’ with Caribou and MC Teteu, ‘Ambery’ with Floating Points, ‘OK OK’ with Danny Brown, BEAM and PARISI, and ‘you’re a star’ with Amyl and the Sniffers.
“Some songs I work on take months or even years… this is one of those ones that was about 27 minutes,” Fred wrote on Instagram. “Basically, 3 elements and they just felt good from the jump and didn’t stop feeling good, so here we are!”
‘USB002’ is set to anchor fred’s next phase, which includes 10 singles and 10 shows in 10 cities worldwide. Last week’s show took place at Dublin’s RDS Simmonscourt, featuring EMA, Caolan Ryan, and the Fontaines DC DJs.
