Belgian producer MAXI MERAKI has shared his club-focused reinterpretation of Monolink’s ‘In My Place’, one of the standout tracks from the singer-producer’s latest album ‘The Beauty Of It All.’ The remix is out now on Embassy One.

Originally born from a spontaneous one-take synth jam between Monolink and producer Toby Siebert, ‘In My Place’ became a defining moment in the album’s release. Its analog textures, warped riff, and restrained vocals captured Monolink’s signature blend of intimacy and pulse. In his remix, MERAKI channels that core into deeper, more cinematic territory.

Anchored by rolling percussion, dynamic basslines, and wide melodic phrasing, the remix preserves the track’s emotional weight while expanding its dancefloor reach. “It’s both intimate and cinematic” — a transformation that stays faithful to the original spirit while bearing MERAKI’s signature sound.

With releases on labels like Abracadabra, Monaberry, Get Physical, and Ultra Records, and support from names including Jamie Jones, Adriatique, Keinemusik, Rüfüs Du Sol, and Pete Tong, MAXI MERAKI continues to build a global presence through emotive, groove-rich productions.
