Nina Kraviz has launched her new label, treats. Positioned as the younger sister to трип, the imprint centers on club-focused tracks that move beyond fixed genre frameworks.
The debut release, ‘treats 001’, is out now. The two-track record brings together cuts that have featured in Kraviz’s sets for months, setting the tone for the label’s direction.
On the A-side, Brazilian artist João Lágrima de Ouro joins MC Pogba for ‘pitbull de glocada’, drawing on regional Brazilian electronic music and baile funk influences. On the B-side, Kraviz collaborates with Rio de Janeiro’s MC Nick on ‘sem amor’. The project began after Kraviz discovered Nick’s ‘Mete com forza e com talento’ online and produced her own version. The pair later met in Brazil, where ‘sem amor’ was recorded on the beach in MC Nick’s hometown.
With its first outing, treats introduces a platform shaped by cross-cultural exchange and direct dancefloor intent.
