Brazilian techno mainstay Victor Ruiz has teamed up with rising producer HNGT for their first collaborative single, ‘A New Day’, out now on 1001 Recordings.
Built around cinematic sound design and a steadily evolving groove, the track opens with atmospheric textures before moving into a locked, hypnotic rhythmic core. Ritualistic vocal elements shape the arrangement, keeping the progression focused while balancing narrative drive with peak-time intent.
The release frames a meeting point between two generations of Brazil’s electronic scene. Ruiz leans into his tension-led approach, while HNGT brings a more introspective, textural sensibility, adding melodic detail to the production.
