Swedish DJ and producer Julia Sandstorm makes her debut on the EG Podcast series with EG.1060, delivering a groove-driven session that captures the playful energy behind her rising global profile. The mix is available now on SoundCloud and Mixcloud.

For EG.1060, Sandstorm leans into a selection rooted in house grooves and funk-driven momentum. Cuts from Marco Lys and Ben Miller, Crusy, Zsak, and Earth n Days set the tone early, while deeper moments from Makez and Supernova add contrast. Later selections from Doorly, Dale Howard, and Chinonegro maintain the drive before the mix closes with the acid touch of Mariche and ZYNK.

The tracklist features music by Marco Lys and Ben Miller, Crusy, Zsak, Earth n Days, Chinonegro, Piero Pirupa and Frank’O Moiraghi, Us Two, Makez, Supernova, Doorly, William Kiss and Luke Alessi, Ammo Avenue, Chasewest, Dale Howard, and Mariche and ZYNK.

Born in Stockholm and now based in Los Angeles, Julia Sandstorm has developed a musical identity shaped by multiple club cultures. Her sound blends tribal and Latin house with melodic elements, soulful vocals, and driving percussion, while touches of rock and classic R&B add further texture.

Her touring schedule has expanded quickly in recent years. Recent appearances include Koko in London, WAV in Stockholm, 99 Scott in New York, and Mixmag’s Tulum party at Vagalume. She also made her Brazil debut at SOM Festival alongside WhoMadeWho, Carlita, and Adam Ten. Ibiza has become another regular stop, with performances at Elrow at UNVRS, Woomoon at Cova Santa, Flower Power at Pacha, and shows at Chinois.

Alongside her DJ work, Sandstorm continues to expand her catalog as a producer and remixer. Her releases include music on LP Giobbi’s Yes Yes Yes, Insomniac Records, and Playground Music. Tracks such as ‘Sarvam’, ‘Simmer’, and her original ‘Leviosa’, along with a remix of Ace of Base’s ‘All That She Wants’, highlight her club-focused approach and broad influences.
