Electronic Groove has released a new special edition of its Ezine, this time dedicated to one of progressive house’s most respected figures, Hernán Cattáneo.
The issue features an extensive conversation with the Argentine artist, who reflects on more than three decades behind the decks, the philosophy that guides his DJ sets, and the role patience and identity continue to play in building a lasting career in electronic music.
From the early days of vinyl digging to the global growth of Sudbeat Music and the expanding reach of his Sunsetstrip events, Cattáneo shares insight into the values that have shaped his journey and the strong connection he maintains with audiences around the world.
The edition also includes a new editorial by Axel Bray, titled Argentina: The Progressive Republic. The piece examines how the South American country has developed one of the most devoted progressive house audiences anywhere, tracing the story from the influential nights at Pacha Buenos Aires to the large gatherings that continue to define the country’s dancefloors today.
Together, the interview and editorial provide a closer look at the culture that helped shape progressive house and the artists who continue to carry that tradition forward.
