Razor-N-Tape unveils ‘Real Ones’, a new collaborative EP from JKriv and Jason Lindner, out today. The release brings together two artists with a shared history across New York’s music landscape.
A central figure behind Razor-N-Tape, JKriv has shaped the label’s identity through edits and original productions. Lindner’s career spans leading the house band at Small’s in the early 2000s to performing on David Bowie’s ‘Blackstar’. Together, they have developed a creative partnership through A Joyful Noise and hybrid live performances at Razor-N-Tape events.
‘Real Ones’ captures that connection across three house cuts driven by layered synth work and steady rhythmic momentum. The tracks build toward expansive moments while maintaining a club-focused structure. Retromigration contributes a remix that rounds out the release with a refined reinterpretation.
