Montreal artist Tiga has released his fourth studio album, ‘HOTLIFE,’ marking his first full-length project in a decade. The LP is available now through his own Turbo Recordings in partnership with Secret City Records.
The 12-track record features a diverse range of collaborators, including Boys Noize, Matthew Dear, Fcukers, and MRD. Production credits also highlight Montreal-based artists Priori and Patrick Holland. The release follows a series of advance singles such as ‘ECSTASY SURROUNDS ME’ and ‘SILK SCARF,’ which served to reintroduce the producer’s signature electro-clash sound to a modern audience.
Musically, the album focuses on a stripped-back aesthetic, emphasizing lean arrangements and dancefloor-oriented structures. The compositions blend industrial influences with pop sensibilities, moving away from experimentalism toward a more direct, functional club sound.
Tiga is a seminal figure in the electronic scene, known for founding the Turbo Recordings label and producing club staples like ‘Pleasure from the Bass.’ His career spans over three decades, during which he has remixed acts ranging from LCD Soundsystem to Depeche Mode.
The album arrives amid a global tour, following a recent performance at Coachella.
