Selim Sivade and Barbara Nicole reunite for ‘Savage’, a new collaborative EP out now via Innervisions’ sub-label Exit Strategy.
Building on the foundation of their previous release ‘Just Skin’, the two artists expand their shared sonic language across a more layered and expressive framework. While their earlier work leaned into minimal arrangements, ‘Savage’ moves toward a broader palette without losing its emotional focus.
The EP highlights the contrast between Sivade’s cinematic production approach and Barbara Nicole’s classically trained vocal delivery. Drawing from his French Riviera background, Sivade shapes textured, melodic compositions, while Nicole brings a blend of deep house, Italo disco, and indie dance influences into her vocal work.
The release has already received early support from Jimi Jules and Dixon, alongside radio play on Samantha Loveridge’s BBC Radio 1 show ahead of its release.
