Electronic producer InteliDey has released his new concept album, ‘Offline,’ which is out now via Extreme AIM Records. The project serves as a creative exploration of the relationship between modern technology and human consciousness.
‘Offline’ blends several distinct genres, incorporating elements of dark melodic techno, hip-hop, Afro house, and Brazilian bass. This stylistic fusion is intended to mirror the complexities and instabilities of the digital era, focusing on themes such as algorithmic polarization and digital dependency.
Musically, the LP balances cinematic techno arrangements with the rhythmic directness of hip-hop. The production maintains a club-focused energy while addressing the psychological impact of attention-driven platforms and social media.
InteliDey is the musical alias of Dr. Somdip Dey, a technologist and researcher with over 16 years of experience at companies including Microsoft and Samsung. His background as an AI specialist and TEDx speaker informs the record’s focus on the ethical consequences of the technology he helped develop.
