Mark Barrott has announced his new album ‘The Exit Diaries’, set for release on June 18th, 2026, via Anjunachill. Ahead of the full release, he has shared the single ‘When Devils Became Gods’, built around orchestral strings and piano motifs, offering a first look into the album’s sonic palette.
The LP is structured around two extended compositions, ‘Light Variations’ and ‘The Stone Tape’, drawing on elements of soul, jazz, orchestral arrangement, and electronica. It also features contributions from Leo Taylor, known for his work with The Invisible, Floating Points, and Hot Chip.
Barrott’s career spans early releases under his Future Loop Foundation alias and a role in shaping Ibiza’s modern Balearic sound through his ‘Sketches From An Island’ series. He is also the founder of the International Feel label, which has released music by artists including José Padilla, Quiet Village, and Gatto Fritto, alongside remixes from Andrew Weatherall, Theo Parrish, and Todd Terje.
