Charlotte de Witte has released her new EP ‘Amor’, out now via her KNTXT imprint. The project sees her collaborating with Brazilian singer, DJ, and producer CERES across three original tracks.
Each cut on ‘Amor’ incorporates CERES’ Portuguese vocals, forming a connected body of work through shared motifs and tone. “This EP is inspired by my love for Portugal and Brazil, the country, the people, the food, the culture. Made with lots of amor,” says de Witte.
The title track ‘Amor’ combines a driving rhythm with layered effects and rising tension, while ‘Sem Ar’ shifts into breakbeat-adjacent territory with dense percussion and a vocal-led breakdown. Closing the release, ‘O Movimento’ builds around a fast-paced groove, with vocals and acid elements shaping its progression. The vinyl edition also includes an instrumental version of ‘O Movimento’.
The release arrives during an active period for de Witte, following her recent 15-year career milestone and a series of large-scale performances, alongside her debut album and its deluxe edition.
