JVLY has released a new remix of ‘Walked The Sun’, reworked by Berlin-based producer dj poolboi. The track arrives as the latest preview of the upcoming ‘Sunderluxe’ EP.
The remix reinterprets the original with a house-focused approach, introducing a more expansive and atmospheric structure. It forms part of a wider series of reworks tied to ‘Sunderluxe’, a deluxe edition of JVLY’s 2025 ‘Sunder’ EP, which will include a remix for each original track alongside additional material from the same sessions.
Previous contributors to the project include Contrecoeur, Lemonade Baby, and Mel Blue, each offering alternate perspectives on the source material. With this latest version, dj poolboi adds a new layer to the evolving release.
“I’ve been a fan of dj poolboi for a long time, so having him rework ‘Walked The Sun’ was super special,” says JVLY. “He has a way of making songs feel cinematic, kind of like they’re tied to a memory you can’t quite place, and that dreamlike feeling was perfect for this one. It taps into that moment of realisation the song was built around, it’s a new angle obviously but it still feels like that sunset did.”
