FISHER has joined the cast of ‘Toy Story 5’, taking on a voice role in the Australian and New Zealand version of the upcoming Disney and Pixar film.
The Gold Coast artist will voice Garden Gnome, a character described as part of a community of forgotten toys living in an abandoned backyard shed. Sharing the news on Instagram on June 1st, FISHER said he was “incredibly excited” to be involved with a franchise his family has loved for years and that he was looking forward to watching the film with his children.
The announcement arrives months after the cancellation of FISHER’s OUT 2 LUNCH Festival, with organisers citing ongoing cost-of-living pressures. Despite the setback, the event is expected to return in 2027.
