StubHub has introduced FestProtect, a new compensation platform designed specifically for festival attendees facing disruptions during live events. The initiative expands the company’s existing FanProtect Guarantee and arrives ahead of the 2026 festival season.

The program is divided into three tiers. Tier 1 addresses major issues such as severe weather disruptions and last-minute artist cancellations, potentially granting affected ticket holders access to future festival tickets or performances by the artists they missed.

Tier 2 focuses on scheduling conflicts, including overlapping set times, while Tier 3 covers common festival concerns such as excessive crowding and long queues. Depending on the situation, eligible attendees may receive rewards, upgrades, or future ticket opportunities.

To submit a claim, festivalgoers must provide evidence supporting their complaint, including photographs, screenshots, or other documentation from the event.

Commenting on the launch, StubHub said the initiative aims to give fans greater confidence when planning and attending festivals.
